As described previously, many visually impaired people make good use of computers. There is however, a tendency on the internet for designers to cram tiny text on to inappropriately coloured backgrounds and expect everyone to be able to read it.
The DDA are actively encouraging that all business services conducted via the internet should be ‘Accessible’ to the visually impaired. TransMedia Link are happy to give advice or quote on converting/creating a website and making it accessible to the visually impaired.
We can take your current design and vet your existing site to be accessible or in some cases it may only be necessary to have a few visually impaired friendly pages. By incorporating the right size, colour and style of font we can make your site available to those who need it.
Web Audio
As Audio is one of our specialities, we can produce tailor made pieces for your company website or offer a selection of sound effects and music from our in house library. Music adds an extra dimension and can be used to many effects, from underscore to punctuation, to mood-setting and branding. We can recommend the right piece to reflect your corporate image.
