British Sign Language
Many people who are born deaf, or are deafened in early life, use sign language to communicate.
The government recently recognised BSL as a language in its own right and acknowledged that accessing information in English can be difficult for many BSL users.
We offer signed and/or subtitled DVDs and video clips – anything from a leaflet to a presentation can be provided in this format Sign language versions can be produced using images from standard print to convey information Producing sign language videos requires skills in both video making and sign language interpretation
Only sign language interpreters with the necessary training and experience (BSL level 3) are used on these projects to produce high quality and accessible publications
