Easy Read

– Easy Read is most commonly used by people with a learning disability; however it is also useful for people such as the elderly or speakers of foreign languages - as most documents contain some words and phrases that can be difficult to understand

– Documents are re-written using Plain English standards and are illustrated with specially commissioned pictures or photographs

– Documents are made easier to understand by using simple language, shortening sentences, removing abbreviations and simplifying complex ideas and phrases

– The layout is kept straightforward using clear larger fonts and images are added to help illustrate the information

– Company logos and branding are used wherever possible so that the reader will easily identify your product or business
